Wait, what? We start in TWO DAYS?! How'd that happen?

Things are going swimmingly here in The Studio here at Diley Middle. I'M SO EXCITED TO HAVE A 'REAL' ART ROOM IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY! We've got a kiln and e'rythang! All right, all right, I'll calm down now.

There's been all kinds of activity going on here at DMS over

the past few days; all the teachers coming back, new trainings, re-trainings, health fairs, classroom organization, filling out order forms, planning murals. It turns out bulletin boards don't put themselves up, nor are there mythical Board Fairies, Room Gremlins, or small woodland creatures to help. Who knew?

Everyone here and at Harmon has been very welcoming and I can't wait to start working with everyone. First day with the students is fast approaching and I don't even care summer break is ovah! I'm ready to slang some paint. I hope the students are too.
