One of my favorite projects ever has GOT to be the graffiti unit. Judging by the work that came out of it, we may have a winner among the students as well.

We learned a bit about the history of graffiti, where it came from, why it showed up (yes, even Vikings vandalized their ships), and the difference between street art and vandalism.

Students came up with a personalized Tag Name that somehow described them and gave the distinction of an alter ego.

With a bit of grumbling we trudged through the VERY difficult...VERY challenging... >.> <.< -.- task of picking out a name for ourselves...we dove into the steps of letter manipulation and the key ingredients of the Semi-Wildstyle form of graffiti.
